Humans, from the planet Earth, came to Caledonia during the Medieval Era and chose to settle on the planet. They created the Human Settlement and tried to grow their own plant matter on this new world[Pan 2]. However, many of the native drow resented the human settlement and so drow from Llurth Caridwen attacked the human village and captured their prince, Mordred[Pan 3]. A small group of the humans chose to try to make allies with other drow factions and so, led by King Mark, they came to Eberron. In the group was also King Mark's wife, Queen Iseult, Sir Tristram, Sir Isolde, Sir Palamedes, Sir Galahad and Sir Gawain. Sir Palamedes was loud and bold but scared away most of the villagers. They were led to the central gazebo where they met Minister Lysse, a member of the demarchic government. She liked King Mark, despite him being a king, but the other drow wanted the humans to leave. Lysse suggested they contact the owners of the massive ship floating above Llurth Caridwen, which the humans actually identified as their own ship - Camelot. This meant there were others with an identical ship on Caledonia. She offered to take the humans to these other off-worlders, the Boreans, in their land of Hyperborea[Pan 1]. The group travelled via flying stone, though there wasn't enough room for Sir Gawain so he had to ride a floating paving stone attached to the main brick via a rope to surf behind. The turbolasers of Camelot are erratic, which they speculate is because Morganna le Fay cannot control the systems. As they reached Hyperborea, a land covered in snow with a gigantic orb at its centre, a rogue blast from Camelot hit them and Minister Lysse was crushed by the flying rock. Isolde wanted to animate her corpse but everyone else protested, including Tristram[Pan 4].
