Template:CharacterKnowSoul was the primary antagonist of the Memory Lane Story Arc which began when Tsolo, the "Avatar of Loss", and DarkSide, the embodiment of Characters' evil, joined together and became KnowSoul himself. KnowSoul intended to destroy the heart of the Never-ending Story by travelling through Memory Lane Page by Page. However Michael McFarlane was then believed to have destroyed KnowSoul by separating his two halves - DarkSide and Tsolo - and continued his quest to end the NeS. However when Michael and the NeS Heroes all reached NeS Page 50 of Memory Lane KnowSoul revealed that he was still within Michael the whole time and was steering him towards this Page. Losien Simon eventually eliminated KnowSoul.
