Germany is a country in central Europe which has been pivotal to the history of the Earth and has contributed greatly to the cultures of many other nations, including the United Kingdom, France and the United States of America. During the Medieval Era, Germanic tribes were responsible for shaping Europe, such as the Saxons and the Franks.

Saxony
The Saxons were one of the tribes that invaded Britannia after Rome retracted to defend its own borders. Though they conquered and settled lands, they ultimately lost a great battle against King Arthur who would then go on to rule the lands of Britannia himself[Pan 1].
Frank
The Frankish tribes of Germany moved into western Gaul[Pan 1].
Angles
