As a Dorf, Egnarts is short and stockily built and his skin is orange. Blue and brown whiskers cover the entirety of his face except for two bright eyes, and unkempt curls fall from his head down his shoulders. He wears what seems to be a uniform of some sort. It is a matte black affair, including bandoliers strapped across his chest from both shoulders, and a gun holster on his hip. A green HUD-monocle is in front of one eye, held in place from his hair-hidden ear[Pan 1].
He takes his role as a Witch-Wardens very seriously and is always on the look out for magical or divine objects. Though his job as a Witch-Warden is to operate with an anti-magic policy, he doesn't hate magic or the users of magic on principal[Pan 1].
He has a ballistic cyberpunk revolver in a holster on his hip[Pan 1].
He has a green head's-up-display-monocle is in front of one eye, held in place from his hair-hidden ear[Pan 1].
The humans of Space Britain visited Outpost Finagle[Pan 2] where Egnarts worked. Sir Palamedes, one of the human knights of Space Britain, found a wedding chapel off of the main arcade where they were stopped by a Dorf who was guarding the chapel against unapproved divine or magical objects that may cause trouble with the conflicting religions within. Palamedes almost caused a fight with the Dorf but Newrias, Palamedes' drow squire, talked them both down. Palamedes, assured of his religious victory, marched into the chapel but Newrias smelt redthorn lintblossom, a plant from Caledonia, on the dorf and some of his memories began to awaken. As a teenage drow, his awakening was beginning and he was starting to remember his true self and his past lives and he recalled his alchemy. Newrias asked the dorf about his anti-magic attitude and he explained that he didn't personally hate magic but it was his job as a Witch-Warden. He further explained that others of the Myst Sector did hate magic and it was from there that the Witch-Wardens operated. Once the Myst Sector was ruled by a magocracy but the people overthrew them. This resonated with Newrias' desire to be free of Caledonia's matriarchy. As the dorf introduced himself as Egnarts, Newrias responded that his name was Dhae - the first time he remembered his true name thanks to his awakening memories[Pan 1].
