A dervish is a creature that can be summoned from Hell by a practitioner in summoning, either pure magical or through arcane magicks.

Semievil once summoned thirty-six dervishes by accident when he grew frustrated and starts cursing. At the time he was a sorcerer[Ext 1] character class[Ext 2] from Dungeons & Dragons[Ext 3]. He used the fire-elementals he also summoned to destroy all but one oft he dervishes before an arch demon wiped out the elementals[NeS1 1].
